The Halfway Caravan & Camping Park is an attractive, 2 acre touring site. We are located near the Dorset and Somerset border and surrounded by stunning countryside views and historic sites galore. Next door is the Halfway House Inn and their fishing lake.

* We are especially well located for a stopover on your journey to Devon and Cornwall *

We have 10 hardstanding bays for caravans, and there's lots of room for tents. Onsite is our red brick cottage shower and bathroom facility.

Guests with well behaved children and/or friendly pets are very welcome.

Nearby lies the old Roman town of Lindinis, known today as Ilchester. Also a short drive away, the beautiful village of Montacute in which scenes from the feature films 'Sense & Sensibility', 'Elizabeth' & 'The Libertine' were shot. Montacute is also known as the village location for the BBC series 'To The Manor Born'. Close by market town Yeovil, provides 24 hour grocery shopping, cinemas, swimming, bowling and some great nightlife. Closer by, just up the lane,is the lovely Brimsmore Farm Shop with its tempting selection of local produce.

One last thing, please take a moment to look at the links on the PLACES OF INTEREST page. Here you will find some of the many wonderful sights that we think are worth a visit whilst you are staying in this region of the West Country.

Safe journeys & we look forward to seeing you soon!
